Career: Tevin's Career has taken him from Duke to USD to Arizona, he has succeeded at all levels, he is a team first guy who can play the True Nose Guard Position at 314lbs but is versatile enough to kick out and play DT in a 4-3 Defense as he showed in the College All Star Bowl. Tevin's story is an amazing one that shows his tenacity, work ethic as well as his intelligence, he was recruited by nearly every Ivy League School, Air Force, Duke based off his academics. He is a High School State Champion Wrestler in Arizona. The team that gives this young man an opportunity will be pleasantly surprised.

2013: Played 13 games and started all 13 games at Nose Guard, had very productive year from the NG Position with 37 tackles, 7.5 TFL, 2 Forced Fumbles, 2 Sacks, 2 QBH, all while eating up 2 and 3 blockers every play.
2012: Played in 13 games and started three contests at nose guard ... One of six current or former walk-ons to play on defense for the Wildcats ... Totaled 26 tackles on the season with 13 solo and 13 assisted ... Also has 3.0 tackles for a loss of four yards and a forced fumble.
Before Arizona: Played his true freshman year in four games at Duke, recording four tackles ... Transferred to the University of San Diego for the 2011 season, playing in eight games, with 11 tackles including 3.5 for losses.
High School: Logged 130 tackles for the Curley Culp Award his senior year ... A National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award for his academic work ... Football and wrestling letterman, with 5A-I state title in the heavyweight class.
Personal: Son of Roselyn and Charles Hood ... His biological father, Eric Swann, played in the NFL for the Cardinals ... Majoring in English.
